Recently, the Railways had begun applications for nearly one lakh jobs. Giving another big haul to the youth, the Railways is planning about 10,000 new recruitments soon. This announcement was made by railway minister Piyush Goyal, introducing several new schemes in UP.
Piyush Goyal said that the railway wants to provide passenger more facilities and more opportunities for the youth than employment. He said, “We have almost completed the process of recruiting 90 thousand posts in the C and D groups. Now we will soon recruit 9,500 new recruitments in the Railway Protection Force (RPF). “Not only that, Piyush Goyal has said that 50 per cent of these jobs will be reserved for women.

Let us know that earlier Indian Railways has been applying for 89,000 jobs in C and D categories. Of these, 26,502 vacancies are for C grade while 62,907 vacancies are for D grade. So far 1.5 million candidates have applied for railway jobs. The last date for applying for railway jobs is March 31.
