Central Government gives big gift to farmers, subsidy will be available on Uriya till 2020
The central government has given a big gift to farmers on Wednesday for six years. With the approval of the government’s proposal to increase Urea subsidy by 2020, the DBT process has also been approved. Farmers are given Rs 5,350 per tonne as per the fixed price of urea fertilizers.
In the financial year 2018-19, the urea subsidy was expected to be worth 45,000 crore rupees. The government has said that by subsidy, farmers will get urea fertilizers at low cost. So in the next three years the government will provide subsidy of Rs. 1,64,935 crore.
The Ministry of Agriculture proposes every year in the Cabinet on subsidies on urea, but for the first time in three years the government has imposed subsidy on Urea fertilizers for the next three years. There is a happy atmosphere among the farmers.
