Modi government is going to introduce the first general budget on February 1 after the ban. The government can gift health insurance to all citizens in the budget. During the treatment of severe illness, the government will give health insurance to all the citizens of Rs. 3 to 5 lakhs.
According to sources, the government has allocated a budget of Rs 5,000 crore for health insurance. Private insurance companies can get a bigger role through the government's plan. The government is also considering health insurance as a trust. Health insurance will be provided under the sponsored scheme. 60% of the total cost of the Central Government and 40% of the expenditure will be suffered by the state government.
According to sources, the health insurance plan will be of three types. In the first plan, people living below the poverty line will be given insurance. The name of the Kalyan scheme will be held. In the second plan, citizens with income up to two lakh rupees will be included.
In the third plan, citizens with more than two lakh income will be included. According to sources in the finance ministry, 70% of the people in the country do not have a health insurance cover, all such citizens will get the direct benefit of the government's health insurance scheme.
