New Delhi: After five days of announcement of virtual id option for security of support, it has been announced that Chehrra will start verification facility. UIDAI has also included Face Recognition in addition to fingerprints and eye ratios for support identification. Now, it is possible to verify the basis of face also. This service will be effective from July 1.
UIDAI said that the new facility will help in the verification of people whose biometric authentication has problems due to fingerprint problems, elderly or heavy work. New facilities will be allowed at the time of need.
According to the UIDAI, till date 119 crore support numbers have been issued. Every day about 4 million support is being verified.
Chahra's identity will be accepted only in Fusion mode. That is, the identity of Chahra's identity will not be verified. It is necessary to have one of the fingerprints or eye retina or OTP. Images can also be pulled from laptops or mobile cameras, so agencies will not need any hardware to identify them.
