E-way bill, GST council decision will be implemented from 1st April
New Delhi: Several decisions were taken in the important meeting of the GST Council held under the chairmanship of Finance Minister Arun Jaitley. The Council also extended the return filing date to GST. GSTR-3B can be filled up by June. With the introduction of the e-way bill for import of goods exported from the first April.
E-way bills will not be implemented simultaneously throughout the country. 
This will be applicable in lots of 4 states according to the tabla. In the first four states, the e-rate bill will be applicable and then the other 4 states will be applicable. The e-bill currently in Kerala, Karnataka, Tamilnadu will be applicable from 1st April. This time the council has avoided the decision on real estate and reverse charge mechanism until July 1.
According to the e-way bill, the government has to show prior approval of the online registration for the delivery of a product of more than Rs. 50 thousand or more outside the state or state of Transportation. 
Accordingly, the e-bill will be generated which will be valid for 1 to 15 days. This belief product will be decided based on the distance to be taken. For example, one day e-bill will be created for a distance of up to 100 kilometers whereas a 15-day e-bill will be created for a distance of one thousand kilometers.
