Modi Cabinet takes a big decision, a new scheme launched for farmers
The Center’s Modi government has only a few days left to complete four years. So on the occasion of the fourth anniversary, the government has taken some important decisions to make farmers’ income worse by 2022. Apart from this, 20 new ames hospitals have been announced in the country. All these decisions have been taken at the Cabinet meeting today. A budget of Rs 33,273 crore has been kept for the Green Revolution Agricultural Upliftment Plan by 2019-20.

For the remaining payments to sugar mills, the farmers have been allowed to produce a product linked subsidy. Under this scheme farmers will get a subsidy of 5.50 per quintal under the production linked subsidy to provide relief to sugarcane growers. A decision has been taken in the Cabinet meeting. Let me tell you, the Group of Ministers recommended this subsidy. It is worth mentioning that the remaining payment of sugarcane growers has reached Rs 19,000 crore.
