Google has announced to make Google Assistant available on the older Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system on Thursday to provide Virtual Personal Assistant to more android devices.
Google Assistant Program Manager Maxim Mookhey said in a statement that we are now adding Android Lollipop to that list, for which Google Assistant is also available. This will be issued for users who have kept their phones in English, India, America, Australia, Canada and Britain. Apart from this, it will also be available for the Spanish language users in America, Mexico and Spain.
Mookhey said that besides Google Assistant, Italy, Japan, Germany, Brazil and Korea are also being issued for users. Earlier this year, the company announced its own voice assistant, Android Marshmallo OS, with Google Play Services for the OS.
In the meantime, to promote the use of Internet in India, the company has released its version of OS OS Android Orrio earlier this month. Android Orion is designed for entry-level Android smartphones, which will have less than 1GB of RAM. This OS runs smoothly, despite having low RAM, low memory and low storage space.
