Jio phone launches special edition of Google Assistant
A new special version of Google Assistant has been launched for Geo Phone. This will be the first time that an internet-based IT based virtual assistant will come in a feature phone. Geo is the second digital voice assistant for the phone.
However, this handset with 4G capability already has an assisted pre-load, which can take voice commands. The Google Assistant version for Geo Phone will be available in English and Hindi and it will respond to voice search related inquiries. Google Assistant Geo Phones were announced in the Google for India event.
Google has shown that its software will work on several voice commands, including search results, music play, and sending text. However, it has not been announced yet when this software will be launched for handset and when will it support in regional languages. Google Assistant will help access other apps, including calling, texting, music and video play.
